A belated happy 2011 to everyone!
We've already had our first Kreado session for this year on the 15th of January. From the above picture you can see we decoupaged trays and we painted them with some interesting paint techniques. For this year i've decided to mix up some techniques. Next up on the menu for Kreado is glass frosting and painting. This is for some reason a very interesting topic for crafters because already have 5 registrations which is unusual so long ahead before the session.
Kreado is now in its third year and still just as much fun as ever. I have to admit the last couple of session the number of dames joining me for crafting has lessened. But still every time there are a couple of new faces and a couple of regulars. I do not consider having a small number of people crafting as a sign of a dwindling Kreado. Rather i'm grateful to be able to be able to do the crafting with them! To go through whatever recipe we have to do that day together makes me more familiar with the issues they're experiencing. And so i also made a tray last Saturday. And almost finished it too.
I say almost because the glass jars (remember them?) took priority this week. And yes you'll be proud to know that they are finally finished! Triple yay! Thanks to the help of my other half, we were able to finish them this week. I took pictures already and will post them in the next post.
